| With standard aerators the flow rate goes up as the pressure increases. In certain markets and applications it is preferable to select the NEOPERL PCA® technology. The fields of application include: |
| | | markets with a standard defining the maximum flow rate |
| | | water conservation |
| | | plumbing systems where an even distribution of water between various points of use is needed |

Working principle |

A rubber O-ring selected for its precise hardness and dimension compresses on an engineered seating area (made of plastic material) to reduce the water passage when the pressure increases and relaxes to open this passage when the pressure decreases.
The pressure compensating flow regulators used in PCA® aerators produce a constant flow rate regardless of pressure fluctuations.
